The faceted hour markers are all applied, as is the scripted, gilt Breitling "B" logo. Plump plots of beige Super-LumiNova rest on the outside of the hour markers, and running along the furthest point of the dial, right out of reach of the chronograph seconds hand, is the decimal scale.

The central handset, including the chronograph seconds hand, is rendered in a bright red hue that evokes the free spirit of the 1960s and complements the colorful detailing on the three o'clock sub-dial. The dial, with its creamy silver registers, also serves to somewhat mimic the reverse panda style that the Top Time was famous for using throughout the 1960s. The Top Time branding on the dial near six o'clock is authentic to the vintage font as well – all caps, all the time. There is no date on the watch, a smart decision that avoids interrupting the dial's clean lines. The domed sapphire crystal is treated with a coating of anti-reflective material on both sides.
